Sound's good to me

I picked up two new toys today in honor of it being the day before the last day I can buy toys for a while. I picked up some Sennheiser HD-570 headphones which I've had my eye on for years. While I was at "The Good Guys", I also picked up a subwoofer. It was open box and all sorts of on sale.

Last time I went headphone shopping I was a little more conservative and purchaced a cheep set of Sennheiser headphones. There isn't any comparision. In true Bill style, I've been playing with this new toy since I bought it. Usually I can't stand to wear headphones (or even my great earbuds) for more than an hour. My ears feel like they're going to fall off even after shorter stints. The HD-570's are great though. I've never experienced this sort of frequency response either (18-22,000 Hz!), much less in headphones. I can't say enough good things about them.

The subwoofer recived far less of a workout. I did manage to buff out most of the scuffs and get it connected to my reciver. With nothing but the radio to listen to though, I can't say it had much of a workout. Even with Prologic and the bass pumped up as much as I could it wasn't thrilling. I'll have to wait until I can get my media box back up and running.
