4:30AM - A great time to get work done

It's amazing how much work I can get done when nobody is sending email, calling or trying to meet with me. As exciting, challenging and interesting this project is, I'm not really thrilled with Sunday night / Monday morning deployments. Aside from the obvious sleep issues, it's also driven me to blatant caffeine abuse. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if the caffeine wasn't in the form of Dr. Pepper. At least engineering and operating several multi-node clusters of clusters will look spiffy on my resume, so long as I don't tell anyone they are running nearly unclusterable Tibco software. What a pain.

So what is Mr. Schuller from San Diego up to lately? This is Nathan, I used to work with you at Cayenta in SD.
